Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is on the way to take players back to 15th-century Bohemia! This time, Henry is not just your sorry peasant struggling to swing his sword. The story continues from where we left off in the prequel and if the trailers are to be believed, we will get to see the warrior side of Henry. With the release date only a few days from now, many fans and newcomers are interested in knowing more about the game and what it will offer. And so, here we are with the post-launch roadmap for the game!
The first game was rich in story, and there were a lot of mechanics to learn and master. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is going to be similar, with even more content and things to do! The developers have been working on the game for quite some time and now they have shared a post-launch roadmap! So, what does it say and what can we expect from the game after release? Continue reading to find out.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Roadmap Features: Hardcore mode, Barber feature, & more
Luckily, the developers have outlined a roadmap extending from spring to winter after the game’s release, promising a steady stream of new content. All in all, fans can look forward to regular updates, expansions, and fresh experiences throughout the year. Anyway, here is a detailed breakdown of the post-launch roadmap.
Spring 2025 – Free Content for All
The journey begins with a generous free update, bringing three exciting features. The Barber Feature will be introduced, which will let you customize Henry’s appearance, giving him a fresh look to match his evolving story. Hardcore Mode ups the ante for veterans seeking a punishing survival experience, removing conveniences and pushing realism to the next level. And for those who crave speed and competition, Horse Racing gallops onto the scene! All of these changes are expected to drop in between March and June of 2025.
Summer 2025 – Brushes with Death (Expansion Pass)
A mysterious artist, a troubled past, and a tale of intrigue are what we have been promised in Brushes with Death. From all we know so far, it looks like Henry must assist a talented but enigmatic painter. What secrets does his past hold? And what dangers might lurk behind the strokes of his brush? Well, uncovering this will be possible when the DLC launches in the summer, i.e., June to September of 2025.
Autumn 2025 – Legacy of the Forge (Expansion Pass)
With an expected release date of September to December of 2025, players who played the prequel will get nostalgic as they will be offered a chance at redemption! Steel, fire, and craftsmanship will take center stage in Legacy of the Forge. Henry returns to his roots, restoring the once-great Kuttenberg Forge to its former glory. As he hones his blacksmithing skills, he’ll forge powerful weapons and armor, carving a name for himself as a true master of the trade, just as his father once was!
Winter 2025 – Mysteria Ecclesiae (Expansion Pass)
Finally, Winter looks to bring in the ominous plague in Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC. Deep within the Sedletz Monastery, a deadly illness spreads, and Henry must investigate its origins. This looks to be a throwback to the infamous plague outbreaks of the medieval period. Anyway, the DLC should give the players interesting insights all the while keeping them on their toes! This DLC is likely to drop in the month of December of 2025. But who knows, perhaps we will get the new DLC when the new year hits!
Keep in mind that the range of months we have mentioned here is purely speculative and should be taken with a grain of salt. But until official verification, these dates are our best guess. Also, one key thing to note is that those who pre-order or purchase the Gold Edition of the game will receive the Gallant Huntsman Kit, a special equipment set for aspiring hunters. Additionally, Gold Edition owners will gain access to all upcoming DLCs. So if you don’t want to miss a single moment of Henry’s unfolding journey, do get the Gold Edition!
That said, this is all we have to share on this matter. We hope your doubts regarding the same have been cleared. And, for more gaming-related queries, make sure to stay tuned to DigiStatement first.
