Kiddion’s mod is the talk of the town. It’s easy to access, easy to toggle and also gives a smooth vehicle spawning experience. You should get your hands on it if you haven’t already. There have been cases where people have trouble with making the mod work for them.If you’re experiencing such problems, read on for a solution…
First, the nature and intensity of the problem can be different for different users and the most common ones are :-
1) Keys not working (even after the software boots up)
2) Not being able to use the options(even though they’re visible on the screen)
3) Not being able to process commands and use the spawn option.
These problems possibly arise due to not giving the mod access to run independently, some solutions that can be tried are:-
1) Try keeping the Numlock on, since most of the commands and toggle options in the mod involve numbers and special keys, keeping the Numlock on will facilitate easy action and command processing.
2) Try disabling the real-time virus scanning option, if any, sometimes, anti-virus softwares like avast stop programs from running properly even though they don’t really have a virus in them. If real-time scanning is disabled, the mod may function normally as it won’t be blockaded by the software. (it is advised to immediately turn real-time scanning back on after running the mod).
3) Redownload the mod from the WinRar archive and run it as an administrator. This should override any blockades the mod may be facing in its functioning.
4) You should check your windows firewall settings and make sure that the mod is in the list of allowed programs, if not you can delete and reinstall the mod to see if it can get itself added to the list or you can simply add it manually by yourself.
5) If you can’t navigate the menu, make sure that the mod isn’t blocked by windows defender, if it is blocked, re-enable it and then run the mod.
You can always delete reinstall the mod and if it still doesn’t work you need to check the authenticity of the source from where you’ve downloaded the Mod.
