Is there a BattleCore Arena PS4, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One Release Date (2)

BattleCore Arena is the upcoming adrenaline-fueled competitive platform shooter developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux. Well, originally developed by Cosmic Ray Studio and released in 2017, it has now been re-announced under the development of Ubisoft Bordeaux. The game is set to launch via Early Access on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect, which has been making waves in the gaming community. It’s a 3v3 PvP game that might give off the vibe of Rocket League with all of the fast-paced gameplay and physics mastery. However, in between all this excitement, one question is bugging the minds of many players like yourself: when will the game debut on PlayStation and Xbox platforms? Well, that is exactly what we will be discussing in this article! So, keep reading till the end.

If you played the game back in 2017 until 2019, you know the game was a PC-exclusive title. Now, with the relaunch, new and returning players are hoping to enjoy the game on their consoles as well. If BattleCore Arena makes its debut on PlayStation and Xbox platforms, along with the prospect of cross-platform play, it would definitely make the game a lot more accessible and perhaps popular as well. With availability across multiple platforms and, hopefully, seamless cross-platform gameplay, BattleCore Arena stands poised to attract a huge number of players! But will this be a possibility? Let’s see what information is available regarding the release of the game on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Is there a BattleCore Arena PS4, PS5, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One Release Date

Unfortunately, despite all the anticipation and demand from the owners of consoles like PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, there is currently no official release date announced for BattleCore Arena on any Xbox or PlayStation consoles. What makes matters more uncertain is the fact that there is also a lack of clarity regarding the game’s release date on PC. Yes, you heard that right! The game has no release date for PC either! (a platform where it is intended to launch). What’s more concerning is the absence of any indication from official sources about the game’s potential launch on platforms other than PC. The trailer and official communications have remained silent on whether BattleCore Arena will eventually make its way to consoles. And that’s that but what about speculations? Are there any regarding the release of consoles? Well, here are our speculations!

Will it be available? (Speculations)

Keep in mind that BattleCore Arena will be released in Early Access on PC. So, what does this mean? Well, it is still very early to be expecting the game to come out on multiple platforms. Now, while there’s limited information or official announcements indicating a console release, we can consider the possibility, especially if the game garners positive reviews and proves financially viable for Ubisoft during the Early Access phase. Keeping aside the fact that the original title didn’t see a console release date when it came out in 2017, Ubisoft is an AAA studio that has launched multi-platform games in the past, so they shouldn’t have any issues doing the same for BattleCore Arena. However, Ubisoft Bordeaux is indeed a small team that can only do so much with the current workforce. So, it all depends on the game’s early access reception on PC, which might lead to a bigger team working on the game, consequently resulting in a console release.

But at the end of the day, it is all speculation that you should take with a grain of salt. But don’t forget that the original release, after all, was a PC-exclusive title. So it won’t be surprising if they decide to go the same route this time. Until Ubisoft provides explicit clarification on the matter, all discussions about the game’s console availability remain speculative.

And with that, we have come to the end of this article. We will update this page with more information once it becomes available. Bookmark this page and keep following DigiStatement to not miss those updates. Read more: Hades II Crashing/Not Working on Steam Deck: Is there any fix yet
