InZOI Multiplayer Mode Release Date: When is it coming out
As of now, there is no official information from the developers regarding the introduction of an online multiplayer mode in InZOI anytime soon. It is unfortunate, but true. But the official team hasn’t outrightly denied the inclusion of a similar mode. Here’s what the InZOI Discord server FAQ section states:
We are currently considering various multiplayer features, such as the ability to meet up with other online players or invite them over to your home. But specific details have not been decided.
In addition to this, game director Hyungjun Kim, known for MMO titles, has also stated the following:
If we get a lot of feedback and demands from our players on multiplayer then maybe we could get more specific ideas and start implementing them.
From this, it becomes clear that the team is open to adapting to the fan demands and if fans want a multiplayer mode, the developers will most likely release one. But the question is when.
Multiplayer Mode Release Date
Well, this is something we can’t predict right now. InZOI is in its early access phase and there are a ton of features missing in the game that the developers would want to include before its official release. We don’t think a multiplayer mode is right at the top of their priority list. Well, we do know that it is not going to be released in 2025, as per the official roadmap shared but it is possible that after the successful implementation planned for 2025, the developers might consider bringing in a multiplayer mode.
Multiplayer mod
While an official update featuring a multiplayer mode is out of the picture right now, a multiplayer mod for InZOI is currently in the works. Titled InZOI Together, this mod will allow up to 8 players to co-op together and enjoy the game. As of now, it is in development and its release date hasn’t been disclosed yet. We are expecting that the mod will be released in a month or so from the date of writing this. So, expect a May 2025 release. Do note that this is based on speculation so consider taking it with a pinch of salt.
