There is quite a lot of bugs in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle and chances are, you will eventually run into one. While trying to solve them, you might have to locate and take a backup of your saved files. In order to do so, you will need to know their location. So, here is where you can find the saved files of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle!

If you are a regular PC gamer, finding these saved files may not be a big deal. For those who are new to this and in general have no idea where to find these files, locating them can get tricky. Also, there are two possible locations for these files, and that makes it confusing even for those seasoned PC players. But don’t fret! We have got you covered.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to locate the save game files and the configuration (config) file for a game on your PC for both Steam and Xbox Game Pass users! Just follow the steps given below.

Steam Users

  • Open File Explorer and the the C drive.
  • Open Program Files (x86). Double-click on Program Files (x86).
  • Scroll down and open the Steam folder.
  • Inside the Steam folder, open the userdata folder.
  • Each Steam user has a unique numeric folder. Open the folder corresponding to your Steam ID.
  • Within your Steam ID folder, locate the folder named after the game’s Steam ID. For The Great Circle, the Steam ID is 2677660.
  • Inside the game’s Steam ID folder, open the remote folder.
  • The saved game files will be inside the remote folder. These files can be backed up or transferred as needed.

Xbox game pass users

  • Press Win + E or click the File Explorer icon and head to this PC > C.
  • Inside C drive, double-click Users, then open your username folder.
  • Next up, you will need to open up the AppData folder.
  • Now, navigate to Local Packages. Open Local, then Packages.
  • Look for a folder related to the game (e.g., BethesdaSoftworks.ProjectRelic_…).
  • Open SystemAppData, then WGS. This is where the saved files are stored.

Need Config files?

If you need the config files for the game, here is what you need to do:

  • Click on This PC, then double-click on C to access the main system drive.
  • Locate and double-click the Users folder.
  • Open the folder corresponding to your username.
  • Scroll down and open the Saved Games folder.
  • Inside Saved Games, locate and open the MachineGames folder.
  • Look for a folder named after the game (in this case, The Great Circle) and open it.
  • Inside the game folder, open the Base folder.
  • You’ll find the configuration file here.

To edit it, all you have to do is right-click the file, select Open With, and choose Notepad or a text editor of your choice.
