Huawei Mate Xs & MatePad 10.8 EMUI 11 (Android 11) beta update recruitment begins

Huawei has emerged as one of the leading players in the smartphones market in the last two years. The company recently unveiled its new EMUI version aka EMUI 11 which brought in some exciting features for users including New Always On Display, Revamped Gallery App, Live Icons, Multi-Screen Collaboration 3.0, enhanced privacy & security features.

Coming to the topic, there is exciting news for Huawei Mate Xs & MatePad 10.8 owners, as the EMUI 11 Beta recruitment for both of these devices has started. This information went live on the official Huawei Chinese blog. Have a look at the list of models below which are eligible for the update. The recruitment has kicked off today but no deadline has been mentioned currently. As this beta recruitment is only for Chinese users, we can expect it to arrive for other regions pretty soon. Speaking of Huawei Mate Xs, it was launched in March 2020. The device features 8.0 inches Foldable OLED capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels. It comes with Android 10 out of the box & features an Octa-Core processor. The device features three cameras including 40 MP wide-angle, 8 MP telephoto & 16 MP Ultrawide.

Whereas MatePad 10.8 was launched in August, 2020 & it features Kirin 990 Octa-Core processor. It only has a 13 MP single camera at the rear end & 8 MP selfie camera. It comes with Android 10 out of the box with EMUI 10.1 on top of it.
