How to Turn Off PS5 Controller Trigger Intensity & Vibrations

If I ask you to buy one video game console for free, then your thought will also be bending towards the latest PlayStation 5. This console has created a very large impact in the gaming community since it got released in 2020. Before this console, its predecessor, PS4 was considered the best video game console. Sony has been successful in launching the best video game consoles for a very long time now. But, with the world’s best console comes the world’s best controller.

The PS5 DualSense wireless controller is based on the previous Dual Shock controller. It is further modified by discussions with game designers and players. It has adaptive triggers with haptic feedback through voice coil actuators that can change the resistance to the player as necessary. However, not all the players like the PS5 Controller Trigger intensity and vibrations. Therefore, in this article, we are going to guide you on how you can change turn the PS5 Controller Trigger intensity and vibrations. Keep reading to know how it is done.

PS5 Controller Trigger intensity and vibrations: How to turn off?

The Trigger intensity and vibrations of the PS5 controller let the players experience the reality in the game further. For example, while spraying through a gun in Call of Duty, the trigger intensity will make you feel like you are pressing the trigger of the gun in real or virtually drawing an arrow from a bow. But, some players find these features annoying and battery-consuming and want to turn them off. Just follow these steps to know how to do it:

Method 1

  1. Go to the Home Screen of PS5 and open settings.
  2. Here, scroll down to find and select Accessories.
  3. Here, under Controllers, you will be able to find the Vibration Intensity and Trigger Effect Intensity.
  4. Set both, Vibration Intensity and Trigger Effect Intensity, to off.

Method 2

  1. Press the PlayStation Button on your controller.
  2. Select Accessories from the bottom menu.
  3. Here, select Wireless Controller and select Controller Settings after that. 
  4. Here, you will be able to find the Vibration Intensity and Trigger Effect Intensity.
  5. Set both, Vibration Intensity and Trigger Effect Intensity, to off.
