The latest generation of the play station comes in the form of PlayStation 5. It was developed by Sony Interactive Entertainment and was released on November 12, 2020. The main hardware feature that the PS5 has includes a solid-state drive that can stream high-speed data to improve its storage performance and also a powerful GPU that can play 4k resolution at 120 fps. For realistic reflections and lighting within the game, the PS5 has hardware-accelerated ray tracing and also Tempest Engine for a better 3D audio effect. The Digital Edition of the PS5 lacks the optical disc drive which is present in the base model and is perfectly compatible with Ultra-HD Blue Ray discs.

It may sometimes happen that you are down or enemies have surrounded you, in this scenario calling for help from your teammates is of utmost necessity. So if you don’t switch to game voice chat on PS5, your friends or teammates will not be able to hear you and you will be on your own. So if you stop hearing back from other people in your game, it doesn’t mean your headset is damaged, it is just that you might have forgotten to switch from Voice chat to Game chat. Let’s see how you can get it right so that you can easily communicate with your teammates and get that important clutch.

So before starting the game, you might be on your party chat, but as soon as your game starts you need to get back to game chat. So double click the PS button on your controller and your voice chat menu will pop up. Select the name of the party that you are in, and select “Game Voice Chat“. There will be a Switch button just below the “Game Voice Chat” box, click on it. Now you are finally out of your Party chat and onto your Game Voice Chat. You will still be in the party but your voice will be on Game Voice Chat. If you want to move to party chat, you can again double-click the PS button and change the voice to your party name and click Switch.
