How to Ping Location in Rumbleverse?

Rumbleverse is a different take on the Battle Royale format of games. It is a brawler at heart but a Battle Royale by design. It takes 40 people and puts them on an island to brawl and fight it out. In this game, you are in teams together with 2 other people and have to be the last man standing. Communication is key in such scenarios and this game emphasizes the use of pings and marks to communicate. Pinging is a very important part of Rumbleverse. It can give you or your teammate information about where there is potential loot or danger. In this article, we are going to be taking a look at how to go about Pinging in Rumbleverse.

How to Ping Location in Rumbleverse?

Pinging is basically highlighting a point in the game. This can serve as a beacon for navigation or as a reminder that there could be danger nearby. It can be used in a variety of situations and in a variety of ways. It is basically a communication tool and can be used based on how you and your teammates communicate and relay information.

How to Ping Location in Rumbleverse?

Location pinging in Rumbleverse is very simple. All you need to do is hold down the required button and then mark the location you want to ping. This can be done in any of the supported inputs for Rumbleverse. In most controllers, it is the left thumb stick. On PC, it will depend on your settings in-game. Once you hold this button down for a fixed duration, a small circle-like crosshair will appear. This indicates that the ping is ready. To mark the location, press the same button again and the location will be marked.

This is also a departure from the conventional tap-to-ping system in most games. While that system has its own merits, this system makes it more accurate and often the pings more relevant. It is possible to misclick the buttons when you are playing a game and a misclicked ping is often distracting to your other teammates. The obvious downside is not being able to ping as quickly as the tap ping games.

Despite the downsides, this ping system is a good addition to the game and will surely aid communication and teamwork in Rumbleverse. If you have a teammate without a mic, this is one of the best ways they can communicate with the team. As long as your pings are well placed and communicate the information to your teammates well, it is a good system to follow.
