Although the game has been out for a long time, some players may be unaware of how to switch perspectives in the game. Thus, players can turn on the third-person perspective in the game. For Windows PC or MAC:

It is very simple to switch between the different perspectives or camera views that are available in the game. Likewise, you can simply press the F5 key on your keyboard to turn on the third-person view in the game.

For Nintendo Switch:

Players who use the Nintendo Switch to play Minecraft can also turn on the third-person view. Likewise, they can simply press down on the left joy-con stick to turn on the third-person perspective in the game.

For the Minecraft Pocket Edition on Android and iOS:

On both Android as well as iOS devices, players can turn on the third-person perspective by simply pausing the game and going into the game’s Settings. Then, they have to go to the ‘Video’ option and tap on the ‘Camera Perspective’, and select Third-person to turn on the third-person perspective in the game.

For the PlayStation 3 as well as the PlayStation 4:

Players can simply turn on the third-person perspective in the game by pressing down on the left stick on the PlayStation Dualshock controller.

For the Xbox 360 as well as Xbox One:

It is also very simple to switch between the different perspectives in the game. Likewise, players can turn on the third-person perspective by pressing down the left stick on the controller.

For the Nintendo Wii U:

Minecraft on the Nintendo Wii U also allows players to switch perspectives. Likewise, simply pressing down on the left stick of the controller turns on the third-person perspective.

For Minecraft Education Edition:

Players who use this version of the game can also use the F5 key to turn on the third-person perspective.
