There are multiple methods that can help you out with the mid-game crash issue in Overwatch 2. Go through each method for the best results.
Scan and Repair Game Files
There is a high chance that this issue is occurring due to some corrupt files. To repair them, you must follow these steps.
1) Open the Battle.net launcher and select Overwatch 2.
2) Here, click on Options and select “Scan and Repair”.
3) Click on “Begin Scan” and wait for the scan to complete.
4) Try running the game after restarting.
Resolution and Graphics
If you are playing this game on a low-end PC, you must try lowering the graphics settings. Even if you are not playing on a low-end PC, lowering in-game graphics will help you with the lag and stutter issues of the game. After lowering your graphics and video settings, try running the game and see if it fixes the problem.
Windows Firewall
There is a possibility that the Windows Firewall is interrupting the functioning of Overwatch 2. To eliminate this possibility, Windows Firewall must be disabled.
