While in the game, you will have to navigate to the Chapter Select Screen. After reaching there, you need to press the ‘+’ key on your Nintendo Switch. You can choose the level accordingly, and then the chosen option will decide the severity of the challenges that you will face in the game. Considering the options regarding the availability of the different difficulty modes available, there are 4 options available. These are:

  • Casual – This mode is the easiest among all the available difficulty modes. This is for those players who just want to enjoy the game and the story. Note that your scores won’t find a way to the rankings in this mode.
  • Standard – This mode is slightly more difficult than Casual. The toughness of the challenges here will increase a bit as compared to the Casual mode.
  • Expert – Players who consider themselves really good gamers should only try this mode. In this mode, the enemies will be extremely fierce and it will not be easy at all to defeat.
  • Non-Stop Climax – In order to access this mode, first you need complete the game once. There are no conditions considering the difficulty mode in which you need to finish the game. You can beat the game at Casual difficulty even, and you will get the option to choose the ‘Non-Stop Climax’ mode. You can choose this option by following the steps described above. And as you have guessed already, the Non-Stop Climax mode will keep you on the edge of your seats, with its extremely difficult enemies.
