In the game Farming Simulator 22, everything is real. The game has been designed so well that the growth of crops, the harvest, and everything else seems to be so real and life-like! The best part about the game is the addition of seasons.
Yes, this time the game has new seasons and weathers systems added. And it will not be wrong to say that these seasons and weathers have an impact on the growth and harvest of crops as well.
But have you ever wondered about how many days these crops would take to harvest with the seasons turned off? Since the game has the option to turn these seasons off, how long will the crops take to harvest?
And how long will they take to wither? The crops we are talking about here are all those present in the game right now. These are wheat, barley, oats, canola, sorghum, sunflower, soy, corn, potatoes, sugar beets, cotton, sugarcane, grass, grapes, and olives.
To get the answers to the questions asked above, all we can do is plant each crop and check every day till they are ready to harvest. In this method, we can also check the time these would take to wither as well.
Keep in mind that you can only turn the seasons on and off in the game, not the withering. There is no such settings option in Farming Simulator 22 that allows you to turn off withering.
Okay, so here is the day-to-day breakdown of the time all these crops take to grow and wither while seasons are turned off. Here are they –
DAY 1 – All the crops planted.
DAY 2 – While all other crops are growing, the grass is already ready to harvest.
DAY 3 – No crops other than the grass are ready to harvest.
DAY 4 – Oats, Sorghum, Grass, and Olives are ready to harvest. All others are growing.
DAY 5 – Oats, Sorghum, Grass, Olives, Potatoes, and Grapes are ready to harvest. All others are growing.
DAY 6 – Oats, Sorghum, Grass, Olives, Potatoes, Grapes, Barley, Soy, and Corn are ready to harvest. Others are still growing.
DAY 7 – Every crop other than cotton and canola is ready to harvest.
DAY 8 – All the crops are ready to harvest.
So we can conclude that grass is the only one to get ready to harvest in just two days. Other than that, oats, sorghum, and olives get ready to harvest within four days of planting. Grapes and potatoes take five days to harvest while corn, soy, and barley take six days each.
Coming to sugarcane, sugar beets, wheat, and sunflower, they take seven days to harvest. Finally, cotton and canola are the ones that take eight long days to harvest. Keep in mind that we are talking about the harvest time in the game without the seasons turned on.
This was about the harvest time, but what about the withering time? Well, even after waiting for a long 20 days time with the seasons turned off, none of the crops got withered. This means that you have twenty long days till you can start worrying about your crops getting withered.
