Developed and published by Squanch Games, High on Life is a new comedy-based first-person shooter. The plot of this game is that the Earth has been invaded by an alien cartel called G3. You play the role of an alien bounty hunter who has the duty to protect Earth from the invaders. During your journey, you have to defeat Garmantuous and his gang with the help of various types of Gatlians (talking guns). Well, as you encounter different kinds of situations, you will have to deflect heavy attacks to survive. Here is everything you need to know about how to deflect attacks in this game.
Deflect Attacks in High on Life
Deflecting Attacks in the game is quite simple and easy. Firstly, you must note that you cannot deflect all kinds of opponent attacks. Only heavy attacks like charged attacks, grenades, or missiles can be reflected. For deflecting these heavy attacks, all you need to do is press the assigned melee button at the correct time. To be precise, the right time to press the melee key is just before the moment the attack is about to hit you. On Windows PC, the “F” key is the melee button by default, and on Xbox, it’s the Right-Stick of your controller.
However, you would not be able to deflect attacks unless you have acquired the talking knife, Knifey. It is the blade of Gene Zaroothian that can be unlocked after stabbing the two ants who were trying to sell the knife. You will get across this situation when you accept the bounty to find 9-Torg through Bounty 5000 after wearing the bounty suit of Gene.
