High On Life: How to change FOV
Here are the required steps –
- The first step is to download modifying programs for making this change in the game. As the game does not have the FOV feature in its Settings, you have to use external programs to make the FOV change in the game. A program you can use is a Cheat Engine.
- Next, you have to launch the Cheat Engine program and select High On Life’s .exe file as the active process.
- Now, you have to change the value type to ‘Array of Byte’. Likewise, you also have to set the scan type to ‘Search for this Array’.
- Now, you have to search for this array of bytes ‘CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC F3 0F 11 89 3C 02 00 00 C3 CC CC CC CC CC CC CC’ in the search field. Likewise, you have to make sure that you are searching for executable memory instead of writable memory. You can go to the Memory Scan Options and uncheck the “Writable” box.
- After doing so, you can see a single value appear on the left. You have to double-click the row to make it appear at the bottom.
- You can then go to the text box to edit the memory by double-clicking on the ‘Value’ section at the bottom. You have to now replace the contents of the result with the following:
‘CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC CC 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 90 C3 CC CC CC CC CC CC CC’ - Another array of bytes you have to search for is the following: ’40 53 48 83 EC 30 44 0F B6 51 63 48 8B D9 45 84 D2′. After you get this search result, you have to now change it to the following: ‘C3 90 48 83 EC 30 44 0F B6 51 63 48 8B D9 45 84 D2’. After making the changes, save it. Now, launch the game.
One downside to this method is that you have to do this every time you launch the game. Also, note that this isn’t an officially listed method, so we cannot guarantee that it works.
