Codemasters took their time analyzing what the fans wanted and with the disappointment of Grid 2019, they went back to the basics of their first game and added features and more content that many fans craved. They improvised a lot in Grid Legends and implemented features that lacked in a previous game like more tracks, better handling controls via controllers, and a new story. As Grid Legends has been officially released, the game is still receiving new updates and devs have planned many things in their roadmap.
Is there a fix for License Check Failed error in Grid Legends?
Many frustrated gamers took to EA’s customer support and forums to express their discontent with the License Check Failed error in Grid Legends, despite buying the full game. Apparently many EA games had that license check failed error, including Battlefield 2042. Fans tried both EA Play and Origin to launch the game and the error is still present in the game. If you have the 10hr trial version of Grid Legends, then the issues might be because of that. Also, one of the Community managers of EA has suggested disabling the antivirus to see if it isn’t conflicting with the game.
Apparently, the game is having problems on EA play, Game Pass, and Origin while Steam users have no issues playing it. Denovo, the anti-piracy software might also be causing the issue with the license check. Thankfully EA is aware of the issue and is working on it so it’s only a matter of time until we get an update that addresses the license check failed error. currently, there is no official fix or workaround that seems to be working for players, so we will have to wait and see when this issue gets fixed.
