Mountain view tech giant Google back in November 2019 launched its game streaming service, known as Stadia. Stadia allows users to buy and play games using their preferred device, whether it’s a PC, tablet, or smartphone. Games run on Google servers and are streamed to the user’s device in real-time. This allows players to play the games up to 4k resolution at 60fps, but you should have required internet speed as recommended by Stadia.
Well, Stadia is now getting a new update that adds a few new features like On-Screen Keyboard, 5.1 Surround sound on web, and a notification feature that will let the user know the connection quality while playing on Mobile devices. Check out the Changelog below:
Stadia Update 1.45 Changelog:
- 5.1 surround sound on web –– We’ve added support for 5.1 surround sound when playing games on web
- On-screen keyboard — You’ll now see an on-screen keyboard on web when you have a gamepad connected to Stadia
- Mobile connection notifications — You’ll see notifications for your connection quality while playing on mobile devices.
We've rolled out some new features on Stadia, including:

Google says that the update has already rolled out. The update is presumably on the servers side; however you might have to update the app for the mobile connection notifications feature.
