Along with the newest update to the Samsung Galaxy Buds app, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro have been leaked. These latest high-end truly wireless earphones due to launch with the Samsung Galaxy S21 series at a keynote in January.
The earphones have now shown up on the Wearable app and hint to the earphones having a feature competitive to Apple’s spatial audio feature available on the Airpods Pro.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro will have some similar features to other earphones in the company’s lineup like Equalizer with several presets.
They will read notifications out loud, customisable touch buttons and more. They will have a noise cancellation feature with an addition of an ambient noise feature which will let the outside sound come in through the microphones present on the earphones.
The Buds Pro will have some distinct features like ‘Voice Detect’ which will lower the volume of the media when it detects that the user is speaking.
A sound balance feature for sound coming out of left and right earbud for those having specific hearing issues. There will also be a feature which will be a competitor to Apple’s Spatial Audio feature that will create a surround sound effect. It changes the direction from which the sound comes by detecting the direction of the user’s head and position of the smartphone. Although, this feature is speculated to be only available for Samsung phones.
