You will find a hell lot of different cars in the game. One of the most demanded cars in the game is the DeLorean DMC-12. This is the famous car that you might have seen in the Hollywood movie Back to the Future in 1985. Now since it is a legendary car, you might be wondering how to get it early in the game, right?
Here are the three ways in which you can get the legendary DeLorean DMC-12 in the game of Forza Horizon 5 –
SERIES 1 SUMMER WET SEASON
To get the DeLorean DMC-12 as a free reward, you need to get to the Season Pass and complete it. Here is what you have to do. In the Series 1 Summer Wet Season, you need to complete the Summer Festival Playlist and then you will be able to unlock this car.
In this season pass, you will be given various challenges that you need to complete. Once you are done with these challenges, you will be rewarded with Festival Playlist points.
You can then use these Festival Playlist points to unlock the legendary DeLorean car and other ones like the Mini X Raid and Hyundai Veloster. To be precise, you will need to collect about 26 Festival Playlist points to buy the DeLorean. This is one of the easiest and most effective ways to get this car early on in the game. Now, how can you collect these points?
As mentioned earlier, you will have to complete various challenges to collect these points. These challenges are basically tasks that you will get in the game. Here is an example to make you understand better.
There will be a task where you must use a specific car to complete a race or complete a certain task, such as driving any car at a speed of more than 250 miles per hour for 5 seconds. These challenges will give you points when you complete them. Coming to the challenges, there are two types of them – Daily challenges and Weekly challenges. Daily challenges will give you only 1 point to complete, while weekly challenges will give you 5 points to complete. Like this, you need to gather 26 points by completing tasks and challenges.
THROUGH WHEELSPINS AND SUPER WHEELSPINS
Wheelspins, both daily and super, are one of the easiest and simplest methods of getting the DeLorean DMC-12. But the only demerit of these wheelspins is that you need to have luck on your side for a chance to win the car. It is a true fact that it is not easy to get a specific car through the regular and super wheelspins. But at least you have the possibility to get it if your luck shines!
BUY IT FROM THE AUCTION HOUSE
Auction House is probably the best place if you want to auction off and sell your cars for Credits (FH5 in-game currency), or if you want to bid on other players’ cars that are put to auction. The principle of Auction House in Forza Horizon 5 goes the same as in the real world.
If you sell something here, the Auction House will make a commission. This commission increases based on the price and other players’ paint and adjustment settings applied to the car. Listing in an auction house will cost you about 15%.
Here is how you can access the auction house in FH5 –
- During the Horizon Festival, you can find the auction house in the “Buy and Sell” menu.
- First, head over to the “Cars” tab, where you have to tap on the “Buy new and used cars” section.
- Next, select “Search Auction” and then change “Manufacturing” to the car you want, i.e. the DeLorean.
- Finally, click on Ok to see all the options available.
You can buy the DeLorean directly or can get it by bidding. Keep looking for the bottom right corner of the screen as it will show you how much time you have left in each auction.
