Fortnite: How to Watch Galactus End of Season 4 event Live

Fortnite Season 5 will begin shortly after tonight’s live event, which will pit us against Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds. We give you all the tips on where to see the event and how not to miss anything of the show. We are finally there. On the cusp of the biggest battle (judging by the size of the encrypted files) the world of Fortnite has ever seen. This Tuesday, December 1 from 10 p.m., a live game event will take place. It will pit the inhabitants of the island of the Battle Royale against the all-powerful Galactus, the Devourer of Worlds, who comes straight from another galaxy.

Twice the size of the largest Fortnite event to date, the fight against Galactus will most likely generate millions of simultaneous connections to Fortnite. Also, Epic Games warns us right now about potential server problems, overloaded by the mass of spectators. It is essential to log into Fortnite approximately 30 minutes before the start of the event.

As usual, the other game modes will be deactivated before the event, and there will only be one playable game mode left: the one where the event will take place. Rest assured: in this game mode, players won’t be able to kill each other, and you won’t (in theory) skip the event in the loading screen which returns you to the main menu.

How to Watch if you can’t Sign in?

As we said above, it can happen that the servers are “capped”, to avoid the general bug. If you ever get stuck out of the game just while the event doors are opening, don’t panic. There are other ways to enjoy the show without being a player, through YouTube and Twitch direct.

How to Enjoy the Galactus Event Live?

Obvious or not, there are a few tips to take into account to have a good live event.

  • Install and update your game long before the start of the event

Installing Fortnite, or its latest patches, can take a long time if your connection is average. If you haven’t played the game in a while, we highly recommend that you take a look at the launcher and update your Fortnite beforehand, to make sure you’re ready by 9:30 p.m.

  • To make room!

If your device is a little finicky, put it in the best possible condition. Clean up your PC before the event, and close other unnecessary tabs. It would be a shame to suffer from lags and freezes in the middle of a show!

  • Style matters

This event is likely to be very spectacular. It would be a shame not to see everything because you are wearing a very massive skin, with a cape and a bulky back accessory. Choose an intermediate silhouette. And this also applies to the glider! In the event that we have to fly to fight Galactus, opt for a discreet umbrella rather than an XXL sail that blocks the view.
