1) Check the game servers: The first thing that you would want to do is check the servers of Fortnite. 2) Check your Internet Speed: Most of the time, a bad internet connection is the only reason for the high ping and lag issues. So, check your internet speed on any browser Speedtest. 1. 1. Open Control Panel and click on Network and Internet (Category wise)
   2. Select on Network and Sharing Center, and thereafter, select your connection.
   3. A new window will open, containing some general information about your connection. Now, head to Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (Double-click) > Check “Use the following DNS server addresses”. 
   4. Here, set the preferred DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS server to 8.8.4.4.

5) Update your Network Adapter: To update your Network Adapter, head to Device Manager (from Windows Search Bar) > Network Adapters > Select your Network Adapter > Update Driver

6) Windows Update: Updating your Windows to the latest version is also essential to fix any bug that might be causing this issue.
