Fortnite players have long been waiting to try on the anti-hero Deadpool and the time when Season 2 battle pass owners will be able to get the Deadpool skin comes closer. Fortnite v12.20 came out today which became the 4th weekly update of season 2 and it came with a surprise. Season 2’s one of the major themes has been the whimsical Deadpool giving our players tasks in-game to complete. With Epic Games dishing out updates week after week in anticipation of the skin release, this week’s update consisted of a leak!

Yes, you heard that right! Now players can prepare themselves for the upcoming challenges on Friday, 20th March, where they will have to find Deadpool’s beloved stuffed unicorn and visit different steel bridges. Completing any challenge would reward you with a cool loading screen and set you up perfectly for Week 6 challenges.

The following week would see the players defacing the recruitment posters for GHOST or SHADOW stuck all over the island. Epic Games also released new posters in v12.20. The other challenge is finding the lost Black Marker of Deadpool. A weapon wrap awaits for anyone who completes these challenges.

Speaking of Recruitment Posters, Epic Games rolled out new posters for GHOST and SHADOW with v12.20.

If everything is similar to other season, anyone who finishes all the challenges at the end of Week 7 will be awarded with the Deadpool Skin.

Fortnite is well known for its pop-culture inspired madness and doing a great job hyping it up. There is a chance that the leak might be intentional to bring up the anticipation for the final release.

We have all been waiting for Deadpool to come to Fortnite and now it is only a couple of weeks away!
