As we have made a development in technology, it has been able to bring a change in our lives. Mobiles and laptops are a living example of that. There was a time when you had to go to a telephone booth to make a call if you didn’t have a telephone at home and today, all you need is a mobile phone and with just one touch, you can make a call. But you know well that making a call is impossible without a strong network operator.
In the last few years, a large number of network operators have been introduced for the public with attractive call and internet plans and one of them Is Woolworths. Woolworths is more than just a mobile network operator. The company has been able to be a part of almost all the sectors of the economy. The company offers various deals to convince people to use their service. You can save on your shopping with Woolworths Mobile and as a valued customer, you can get 10% discount on your grocery shop for once and save up to $50 in a month. This can also help you to cover the cost of your phone bill.
In terms of mobile services, it uses parts of the Telstra Mobile Network that covers around 98.8% of the population with 3G and 97.9% of the population with 4G. It also has a virtual assistant named Olive and with that, it also has easy to use account management and self service features and the service makes mobile as easy as doing your grocery shopping.
But every network operator faces some issues in its service for certain reasons and sometimes, even they cannot understand the root cause of the issue. One such issue is the Error 38. This error is also being experienced by users of other network operators and so, it is clear that Error 38 has now become a common issue for mobile users. In simple terms, Error 38 can be defined as a problem where you cannot send messages to anyone. Users of Woolworths reported that when they tried to send message to anyone, the message was not sent and the Error 38 was being showed on the screen. A bigger problem is that the users have not blocked the recipient’s number by themselves but sometimes, that particular number gets blocked by itself and when users try to send message on that number, they experience the Error 38 issue.
People have tried a lot of things to resolve the problem but till now the issue still exists and moreover, Woolworths Mobile have not mentioned a permanent solution from their side and there have been no response towards this. So, in case if this thing is irritating you a lot and you want to fix it yourself, then you can follow these steps –
- Restart your phone and check if the problem has been resolved.
- Go to ‘Settings’ and adjust the ‘Network Settings’.
- If you have another device, insert your SIM card in that device and try to send the message.
