Fire Emblem Engage All Difficulty Settings & How to Change

There are three available difficulty settings in Fire Emblem Engage. You can choose between Normal, Hard, and Maddening. Below, we will elaborate on these options and how they will affect the game and other NPCs that appear.

1) Normal Difficulty- The normal difficulty is for people who are new to the tactical action RPG genre. So, if you are unaware of the know-how of these types of games, then we recommend picking the Normal difficulty. The enemies will be easier and the resources will be plentiful.

2) Hard Difficulty- The Hard difficulty option is for people who know how to handle themselves in these types of video games. You will face a lot more enemies if you pick this option. The enemies will also have better stats and prove to be a challenge. Also, you will only get 10 rewind charges per battle. So, if you want the game to give you a little challenge, then this is the right choice to pick.

3) Maddening Difficulty- This option is only recommended for players who are well acquainted with the mechanics of Fire Emblem games. This is because if you pick this option, the game will skip a lot of tutorials and you will need to find your way through most things. Players will also not be able to save the game during battles. Also, you will face considerably more enemies and they will have much better stats than other difficulty options. Note that some of the enemies will also have skills and they will pose a threat to you.

So, these are all the available difficulty settings in Fire Emblem Engage. Now, let us tell you how to change this option if you are not satisfied with your current choice. To change the difficulty of the game, all you have to do is interact with your bed in the Somniel Home base. Here, you will find the option to change the difficulty of the game. But, note that you can only decrease the difficulty and not increase it. Well, this is the end of this guide. Stay tuned to Digi Statement, for more such informative articles.
