The gruesome battle continues at all fronts in My Hero Academia Chapter 289. MHA 289 raw scan is out now and they are translated to reveal the spoilers of the chapter. MHA 289 spoilers reveal the title: “Akesuke-chan and Shimattoku-Chan” talks about Ida and Nejire joining Deku and others against Shigaraki. The chapter also shows Toga vs Uraraka in the city where heroes are evacuating people due to the danger of being stomped by Gigantomachia. My Hero Academia Chapter 289 Spoilers & Raw Scan
In the first panel, we see Nejire flying and Ida running with him towards the hospital where Deku and others are. Nejire looks unhappy that Ida is refusing a direct order from the Pro Heroes. But Ida is determined to help his friends. The next scene is Deku falling down but Shoto catches him while holding onto Endeavor and Bakugo, talk about reliable. All of them look alive but heavily injured after the rough landing as well.
Then the next panel we shift to Shigaraki struggling with AFO’s conduct. Ida and Nejire arrive to the scene & see the ongoing struggles. Shoto tells Ida to take Deku away from here but Deku seems to be struggling to speak. He wants to tell everyone that Shigaraki is at its weakest and that this is the time to defeat him for good. But the words cannot come out of his injured mouth and body. Shoto is getting ready to take down Shigaraki.
We shift to the fight between Toga and Uraraka. Toga goes on a monologue of anyone not understanding her and her need to become someone else to feel something. She tells Uraraka that her gravity quirk is amazing and she was able to kill someone with it by dropping them down from a building. Toga says it filled her with joy to be Uraraka.
Ochako gets mad but Toga says that they are the same. Toga annoys her more by asking if she likes Deku. But she doesn’t reply and tries to catch her. Tsuyu arrives to help Uraraka and makes Toga flee the scene. We glimpse into the head of Toga as she wanted to talk more about her love for Deku. Uraraka notices tears in Toga’s eyes and gets confused. It is good to see the sentimental side of villains for a change.
In the final panel-page, we see Machia, Deku, Shigaraki and others and a caption that says the final war is coming soon.
