Of the current Farming Simulator series of games, Farming Simulator 22 happens to be one of the more recent ones. Available for all major platforms except for the Nintendo Switch, the game was developed using the GIANTS Engine and released in November 2021. While fans of the series certainly seem to be enjoying FS22, the game does suffer from some issues. And a major one seems to be the vehicles not loading in the shop issue.
Well, as the name suggests, the issue here is that Farming Simulator 22 vehicles aren’t loading completely in the shop at all. Now, an issue like this could be due to anything ranging from a corrupted save file to something to do with mods. Nevertheless, you are here to find a fix and we have shared some effective workarounds for the same. So, without much further ado, continue reading for more details.
Farming Simulator (FS) 22 vehicles not loading in shop: How to fix it?
Players will have to make do with the following workarounds to deal with this issue. Try these and don’t skip them unless you’ve already tried them before.
Update –
The very first thing that we recommend you do is update the game. So, go ahead and check if there’s an update available for the game. If there is one, download and install it. Additionally, we also recommend that you update all of your mods.
Start a new save –
Players can also try starting a new save and then see if vehicles load in the shop. If it does, then the issue here lies with your previous save. If you are still unable to get your vehicle loaded in the shop, then try the next workaround.
Use the 50-50 method –
This one is mainly for players who are playing FM22 with mods installed. Mods seem to be a pretty major cause behind this issue, so what we suggest you do is use the 50-50 method. Basically, what you need to do is divide your mods in two. Now, run the game with one-half of the mods and see if the issue is there. If it is, then try the same with the second half. Keep using the 50-50 method until you find the problematic mod. Now, we know that this one is a particularly time-consuming method, so if you don’t want to use it, try the next one.
Check your log file –
Checking your log file can be of massive help, as it can help you locate the exact source of the problem. So, head to the following path and check the log file there: C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\MyGames\FarmingSimulator2022\log.txt
Repair game files –
This issue could also be a result of FM22 missing some of its files. In such cases, the only way to fix such an issue is by simply repairing the game files. To do that, you can follow the instructions below:
Steam
- Open Steam and click on Library.
- From there, right-click on FM22 and select Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files.
Epic Games
- Launch Epic Games Launcher and select Library, located in the left panel.
- Next, click on the three dots on the game’s tile and select Manage > Verify.
Reinstall –
If the issue continues to persist, we recommend that you reinstall the game. However, before that, if you’ve got mods installed, try reinstalling all of them and then see if the issue continues. If it doesn’t help, reinstall the game.
