EA Sports FC 24 Moments has had its fair share of praise and criticism. While some players are having a great experience with the game and all the modes it has to offer, others are undoubtedly struggling with errors and various in-game bugs. Now, minor graphical glitches are not much of a problem. But when you have quests and challenges bugged, it means your progression will be halted. Similarly, various challenges of the “Moments” mode seem to be bugged for a lot of players. So, what is the deal here? And is there any official fix yet? Well, continue reading for all the answers.
Moments offers players a unique experience, challenging them to recreate iconic football moments in their matches. Completing these challenges will earn you various rewards. However, the joy of reliving these iconic moments is marred by a prevalent bug affecting several new challenges. These challenges are not tracked properly and seem impossible to complete even after fulfilling the required objectives. While not all the Moments challenges are bugged, there are a few bugged ones, with the community discovering more with the passage of time. The only question that remains now is, “How to fix these bugged challenges?” More details on the same are shared below.
EA Sports FC 24 Moments Bug: Is there any fix yet
Fortunately, one of EA’s community managers actually acknowledged the problem and even suggested workarounds for some of the bugged challenges. Now, to break it down for you, we have discussed the most common bugged challenges and their workarounds as suggested by the EA team.
To complete this, you will have to concede zero goals and win the game. But the issue is that you already start the game with a goal down! and there is no way for you to complete this challenge. Now, the workaround shared by the EA Community Manager is a bit bizarre but seems to work. What you have to do is concede an own goal and then try to win the game. Doing so will complete the moment.
To complete this challenge, you need to perform a perfect lob pass into your box from your goalkeeper. The problem here is that the objective is not tracking correctly. No matter how many times you do that lob pass, the challenge won’t be completed. So, the workaround from EA suggests performing a lob pass in the opponent’s box with any of your players.
This challenge needs you to score three goals, and as usual, the objectives for scoring three goals are not tracking as intended. To complete this challenge, the EA community manager has mentioned that players need to execute finesse shots when they try to score these required goals. (RB/R1 + Shoot).
The game says that you need to score one goal with a flair shot. But this objective, again, is not tracked accurately. So, the workaround suggests scoring two goals with flair shots to register completion.
For this challenge, you will need to score one goal from the right side. But for many players, the objective is not tracked properly. The workaround for this, according to the community manager is to score 2 goals from the right side. This should complete the challenge
Another bugged moment in Football Manager 2024 is “Castle Wall”, where the objective is not tracking properly when attempting to send the ball out of bounds. However, the specific challenge is not just about kicking the ball out of bounds; it requires kicking it beyond the goal line and interrupting a pass or shot toward the goal. Players facing this issue can complete the quest by executing a clearance that meets these specific criteria.
Ring Toss, is another moment that is not tracking properly in the game. One workaround that players have found for the “flick up” task during jogging involves adopting a very slow jog, almost akin to a walk, to execute the flick successfully.
And there you have it! These workarounds, provided by the community manager, offer players alternative methods to achieve completion for the affected moments in EA Sports FC 24. While these solutions may not address the root cause of the tracking issue, they serve as temporary measures until an official fix is implemented by the development team.
