When it comes to mods, there’s no official confirmation yet. But Dragon’s Dogma 2 runs on the RE Engine, which is mod-friendly. This means that even without official modding tools or support, players can expect a vibrant modding scene. Just take a look at other games like Monster Hunter Rise, Street Fighter 6, and Resident Evil Remakes, which all run on the same engine and have active modding communities. Popular games often end up receiving a variety of mods. And, if you take a look at the game’s Nexus Mods page, you will find a bunch of mods available for it. So, yes, you can use mods in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Rumors have been circulating regarding Dragon’s Dogma 2’s support for ultrawide displays, which stems from the fact that Dragon’s Dogma 1 did have Ultrawide Support. It’s also reassuring to hear that the character creation demo for Dragon’s Dogma 2 already supports ultrawide monitors. (3440 x 1440). This suggests that the full game will likely offer support for players with ultrawide setups right from the start. However, there’s uncertainty surrounding support for super-ultrawide monitors. As of now, there’s been no official confirmation or information on this matter. Players will have to wait for the game’s official release to get more concrete confirmation on the extent of ultrawide monitor support.

The announcement of DLSS 3 compatibility for Dragon’s Dogma 2 happened a while ago. Well, the game has support for DLSS, offering improved performance and image quality. FSR 3 is also available in the game, but there is a slight caveat. While DLSS comes with all its upscaling and frame-generating capabilities, players have noticed that the FSR 3 option is only limited to working as a graphics upscaler with no frame generation whatsoever.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 also has native HDR support! You will see vibrant colors and enhanced visual fidelity if you have HDR-compatible displays. The inclusion of Dragon’s Dogma 2 in a Steam curator’s catalog of HDR games, with a mention of native HDR support, further confirms the game’s aim to deliver a visually stunning experience for players with HDR-enabled setups.

As of now, this is all the information available regarding Dragon’s Dogma 2 and its features, such as mod and HDR support and ultrawide support, along with DLSS and FSR 3.
