The method of transferring ownership could be executed easily. Firstly, you must have an ownership role on your ID to do so. If you can see the crown in front of your name, or you are able to delete the whole channel or server, it means that you are the owner of that channel and are ready to transfer the ownership. Follow the below-mentioned steps to transfer ownership of your server to another account:
- Open your Channel and click/ Tap on the Name of your server present on the top left corner of your screen.
- Select Server Settings
- Select Member and find the member to whom you want to transfer the ownership. You can search for the name of the Account or by his/ her role.
- After you find the member in the list, click/ Tap on the 3 dots next to the name and select “Transfer Ownership”.
- A popup will come that you have to agree and further enter your two-step authentication password to complete the process (It will only ask for a password if you have enabled two-step authentication)
