So, after much anticipation, Diablo 4 is finally upon us. Well, not exactly, because the game will officially drop on the 5th or 6th of June (depending on your region). But there is a catch! Players who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of Diablo 4 get four days of early access prior to the release. But since you have clicked on this article, perhaps you are already playing the game on early access only to run into the “Find Valid License” error on your PS5. We understand your frustration. After all, what’s the point of getting early access to the game if you can’t even play it? And if you are facing this error, you are not alone; a lot of other players too are plagued with this issue and wondering if there is a fix yet. Well, fix or not, we sure have some details regarding this error. And in this article, we will be sharing the same.
According to reports from the players facing this issue, when they try to launch the game or are in a queue, the screen goes black, and a window pops up on the screen saying “Unable to Find Valid License Error Code (315306).” Seeing this, one would wonder what the error code means. Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure what the 315306 error code is supposed to mean. We can only speculate that something might be wrong with the servers of the game and not on the players’ end.
Diablo 4 Unable to Find Valid License Error on PlayStation: Is there any fix yet
Now, before we go any further, keep in mind that, as of writing this article, there is no official fix yet for this issue. But that is not all; since a lot of players are facing the issue, they have taken up online forums to seek out a fix. As such, there is a workaround that seems to be working for a lot of players. So what is this workaround? As bizarre as it may sound, the fix is to simply download anything for free from the PlayStation online store. Yes, you heard that right. We don’t know how that fixes this issue in Diablo 4, but apparently, it does. So why don’t you give it a try? Look up something free on your PlayStation Store and download it. Some free games on the PS Store include:
- Fall Guys
- Minefield
- Trackmania
Once done, launch Diablo 4 and see if that fixes the issue for you. If it works, well and good, but if it doesn’t, you might have to wait for an official fix. Meanwhile, you can also try restoring the licenses on your PS5. This might fix the issue as well.
Note: Some players have reported facing the issue on their Xbox consoles as well. However, restarting the console has been reported to fix the issue. If the problem persists, you can try the same method as mentioned above; simply download/add a free game to your Xbox’s library, and then check if the issue persists. Do note that there is no guarantee this will work, so make sure to take this information with a pinch of salt.
And finally, the good news is that the developers are actually aware of the whole situation and have also promised to update the players with more information. With this, we can hope that a fix is in the works. Hopefully, this issue will be solved as soon as possible so that the players who have early access to the game can actually enjoy it.
