An Update to Two Original Killers
The latest Developer Update for Dead by Daylight is split into two parts. Likewise, the first part of the update details new changes coming to the killers: The Trapper & The Spirit.
The Trapper is an original killer character in the game. As the name suggests, he uses bear traps in the game. With the new update, there are more bear traps for players at the start of a match. Whereas The Spirit is nerfed so that it’s now much simpler for players to determine when the character is using her phase walking power or when she’s bluffing.
Coming to the main topic of this article, many players are facing an issue when struggling to get out of hooks in Dead by Daylight.
Here are fixes and workarounds when the struggle input is not working:
- Players have to mash the input to pull themselves away to safety.
- Avoid clicking or mashing the struggle input very rapidly, as it leads to missing the taps.
- Make sure to press the struggle input rhythmically at a consistent rate for the best success.
- Always try and time the taps at a rate of about three taps per second.
