Crafting plays a huge part in DayZ. If you don’t know how to craft more often than not you’ll find yourself living the bad life. Any DayZ player that can’t craft is always prone to injury and/or death. DayZ has an amazing crafting system for a survival game, but it doesn’t really do a good job of holding the player’s hand and walking them through it. So, today we have taken the liberty of making this guide that’ll teach you how to make a splint.
A splint is used for medicinal purposes in DayZ. Anytime a player breaks a limb or gets shot they start accumulating shock damage. This can lead to a player going unconscious which is not ideal. But, when a player has a splint applied they can jog without the accumulation of shock damage. However, this will take away your ability to sprint. Well now that you know why a splint is important, let’s learn how to make one.
DayZ: How to make a splint?
Before we can start making a splint we’re gonna need the proper tools. So, put on your boots, and let’s go scavenging. There are 2 ways to make a Splint. One is with rags and the other is with 100% Bandages.
Rags aren’t something that you can just come along with, they have to be crafted by tearing a piece of clothing with a knife. Bandages are an essential medical item and can be found in Medic and town. You’ll need to combine either the rags or the bandages with the sticks in order to make a splint. Let’s see how:

If you’re on Xbox or PS4, just follow this exact same method and press the combine button for your respective system. And there you have it. Now, you can make your own splints and take on the world of DayZ.
Now, you have all the tools you need to go out there and survive the world of DayZ. You should always make sure that you have splints in your inventory. We hope you found this article to be informative. Visit Digistatement for more information on DayZ. Thank you for reading.
