If you are looking to get this item, consider reading this guide until the end for more details on it.
Cyberpunk 2077 offers a lot of unique weapons. And depending on playstyle, everybody has their favorite one. Some prefer ranged combat weapons, while others like to get close and personal using melee weapons. The Thermal Katana is for players who like the latter option. So, how do you get it? Let’s find out!
Cyberpunk 2077 (2.0) Thermal Katana: How to get & find
Finding the Thermal Katana is pretty easy, actually. What you need to do is open the in-game map and head to the place under the bridge that’s located between the fast travel points of Republic East and Longshore South. You will know you are in the right location when you see the Electric Corporation building.
Head inside the compound, enter the door that has a giant 06 written at the top, and keep walking or running to your right until you eventually find a set of stairs with Sector-0 written on the walls. Head downstairs. Eventually, you will come across a door with a “No Entry” sign attached to it. Ignore the sign and open the door to continue inside.
This time, take left, and you will see another helpful marker, Sector 1. The path ahead will be somewhat dark, but you can continue walking. At the end, you will see a door to the right. Go through it. There will be more walking to do. Keep exploring until you find a door with a red-ish light.
Open the door and continue walking towards the left. Now, several steps ahead, take a right, and you will come across a broken wall. Vault across it, and you will finally see a furnace with the Thermal Katana or Errata in there. Grab it. A warning will pop up at the top saying, Intruder Detected. Enemies have been alerted. You can ignore that. Just equip the weapon and continue on.
The Errata is a Tier 5/Iconic weapon and arguably one of the best melee weapons in the game right now. As for its stats, take a look here:
Attack Speed – 2.12
Damage Per Hit – 105.55
Stamina Cost – 6.40
+25% Armor Penetration
+30% Burn Chance
When equipped, you will be able to leap toward enemies and even get guaranteed crit damage on burning enemies. Besides all this, it also takes up 4.5 Inventory space and has a sell value of 6852.
