Well, it’s finally here. COD: Modern Warfare 3 was fully released on November 10, 2023, for all major platforms except for the Switch, and so far, whatever reception it has been getting from critics and fans doesn’t look good. A short and undercooked campaign, coupled with few improvements and rushed development, has certainly resulted in MW3 being one of the worst-reviewed COD titles in recent years. But in the end, it’s COD, so more or less, it will be selling like hotcakes. After all, the game’s multiplayer is one of the most attractive aspects. And speaking of multiplayer, you might want to know how to turn off crossplay in the game, and this guide will help you with that.
As great as crossplay is, it has its own set of cons. For starters, trying to play FPS, or any shooter game for that matter, with controllers isn’t easy. Mouse and keyboards are miles better for such types of games. But then there’s the aim-assist feature, which has been the subject of much controversy in a plethora of multiplayer games. Furthermore, PC players are also known to use cheats and hacks. Not that it’s encouraged actively, but there are always some who can’t help but use it. All in all, it’s understandable if you or some other player would want to turn off crossplay and enjoy the game as they see fit. So, how do you turn off crossplay in Modern Warfare 3 for PS4 and PS5?
