COD: Modern Warfare 3, the anticipated sequel to 2022’s Modern Warfare 2, is finally available. If not, consider reading until the end for more details.

In the modern video gaming era, language support is one of the most basic things that players expect from developers. With such a diverse video game market out there, developers these days can’t just ignore every other language and expect to get a global following. And considering just how big the Call of Duty series is, multiple language support should be a no-brainer. So, how do you change the in-game language in Modern Warfare 3? Well, continue reading to find out!

COD Modern Warfare 3 (MW3): How to change in-game language?

It’s pretty easy to change in-game language in COD: Modern Warfare 3. Really, all you need to do is open the in-game Settings > Interface and select Language Selection. Now, just select your preferred language from the drop-down menu and enjoy.

Note that depending on your console region, the game will automatically start with a default language, provided that language is supported. So, you will need to download a language pack manually if you want to use something other than the ones featured in-game. If you cannot find the language of choice in-game, follow these steps:

  • First, close the game and head over to your console’s home screen.
  • Now, select COD MW3, press the Options button, and click on Manage Content.
  • After this, find and download the language pack of your choice.

Now, launch the game, and check if the language option appears in the Settings > Interface menu.

Compared to other AAA titles, Modern Warfare 3 developers have done a great job of adding full support for a varied number of languages. Most developers only offer support for multiple languages for subtitles and interface, so adding audio support to all is certainly a great thing. However, that is to be expected from a series of such caliber.
