2) After connecting your second controller or mouse & keyboard to their respective ports, you have to select an account for the new player input. You can do this by pressing the X button on your controller after selecting an account for it.
3) After successfully assigning an account for the new input, you can now see the second player in the lobby. You are now ready to play 2-player co-op multiplayer in the game. Likewise, you can also play the game in split-screen multiplayer.
4) Finally, you can now play some of the modes in the game with 2-player co-op enabled. But, right now, only the Private Match mode enables players to play the 2-player co-op mode.
