Lower the open mic recording threshold level –
A fix that you can follow is to reduce the open mic recording threshold in the game’s voice chat settings. You can do this by simply going to the game’s Settings. Next up, you have to go to the Audio tab and scroll down to the Voice Chat section of the options. After doing so, you have to go to the Open Mic Recording Threshold option and lower its level.
Enable crossplay communication (PS5)-
You can also try fixing the party chat not working issue by enabling crossplay communication. This is primarily needed when you are playing with friends on different platforms. In order to enable this option, you have to go to the game’s Settings and go to the Account & Network option. After doing so, you have to turn on the Crossplay Communication option. Also, make sure that the Crossplay option is enabled.
Switch from the game channel to your own channel (PS5)-
Another fix you can follow is to simply switch from the game chat to your own channel. In order to do this, all you have to do is bring up the quick menu in the game and go to the Channels tab. Then, you have to go to the My Channels option and join it. If you have no channels created, create one and then invite your friends to your channel.
Make sure your mic is not muted
