Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a popular first-person shooter game that features tons of unique gameplay elements. A very unique feature in the game is the ability to walk faster. However, the game does not enable this feature by default. Likewise, the normal walking speed in the game may not be fast enough for you. In such a case, knowing how to change this speed can be very useful. Here are the required steps –

  1. First and foremost, you have to launch the game and go to the game’s main menu.
  2. Next up, you have to go to the game’s Settings. After doing so, you have to go to the Keyboard & Mouse settings.
  3. Then, you have to go to the Gameplay tab. Here, you have to go down to the Movement Advanced Settings option and go to the Move section. You can find a number of options where you can change your movement settings.
  4. Now, you have to change the Walk Behaviour option to Toggle. After doing so, you have to go to the Walk Speed option and change it to Fast. You can then go back to the Keyboard & Mouse settings and go to the Keybinds tab.
  5. After going to the Keybinds tab, you have to go to the Movement Advanced Keybinds option. You can now go under the Move section and click on the Walk option. After clicking on it, the next key/button that you press will now be the keybind for walking fast. For example, you can set the keybind for walking to the Tab key.
  6. Finally, you can now press the Tab key during a match to walk faster.
