Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 features a robust multiplayer mode with tons of features. Likewise, the game allows players to make a party and become party leaders to invite other players and play together. Some players may be unaware of some of the features of the game. You can even change your party leader in the game.  However, the game does not give direct instructions or tutorials to do this. What is a Party Leader in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2?Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

A party leader is the one that has created the party for players to join. Likewise, such a player can kick another player from the party, start matchmaking, and invite others to the party in-game. Therefore, this role is very important in a party.

COD Modern Warfare 2 (II): How to Change Party Leader –

Here are the required steps –

  1. The first step to do this is to launch the game and go to the home screen of the game.
  2. Next up, you have to go to the party screen. In order to do this, you have to press the R3 button on your controller to go to the Social Hub tab.
  3. After going to the Social Hub, you have to press the X button on your controller to bring up the Party Setup screen. Likewise, you can see your Party and all the friends that are in your party.
  4. Then, you have to select the name of the friend that you want to make the party leader.
  5. Now, you have to bring up the options for the player that you want to be the leader, and select the Promote option.
  6. After successfully selecting the Promote option for that player, you will see that the player is now the leader of the Party.
