Clash Royale is a strategy game developed by Supercell. The battle is set in an arena where the two players engage in a time-limited battle. The selected deck of cards spawn troops used in the battle. To make things interesting, Clash Royal season 22 is upcoming.
Balance
The new season brings in a lot of balance updates. Some of the troops that received a buff or had rework done are:
- Mother Witch – The legendary card now has a +14% damage buff paired with a +8% Hit time buff.
- Three Musketeers – The 3 ladies receives a very subtle balance. Their deploy time is given a buff of -50%.
- Elite Barbarians – After its buff in 2017, the usage had considerably gone down. Now, it received a 7% buff in Hit time totaling its overall DPS to a +7% buff.
- Heal Spirit – Rework has been done on this card. The damage has been increased by +225% leading it to 91 sec. However, the Heal radius is reduced by -28% and Heal area by -49%.
- Giant Skeleton – It is no doubt one of the best defense cards. The damage of this card is increased by +29% but the death damage is now down by -54%.

Magic Items
The upcoming update of Clash Royale is introducing the Magic Items. You can now use Magic items to upgrade the cards faster. Some of the Magic Items will be Wild Cards, Book of Cards, and the Book of Books. The former two magic items will level up your card according to the rarity. The Book of Books can upgrade a card of any rarity.
The Chest Key will now free up your Chest slots. You can use the Chest key to open any chest in your slot. Now, coming to the Magic coin. A Magic Coin is going to pay for your upgrade cost. Suppose, to upgrade a level 13 PEKKA, you will need 100,000 coins. You can simply upgrade the card using 1 Magic Coin.
The Magic Items can be acquired from Pass Royale, Trophy Road, and Special Challenges and Global Tournaments. Another assured place is obviously the Shop. Another change is in Clan Wars 2. The Boat wars, normal PvP battle, etc. are also going to make the game much more interesting.
Clash Royale Season 22 Release Date
The duration of each season in Clash Royale is One month. Staring with the first day of the month, it ends on the 30th day. So, the new Clash Royale season 22 will be rolling out on April 1st. We can say that gamers are pretty excited about this update.
