For many Chivalry players, the PlayStation 4 provides a top experience. The latest sequel, Chivalry 2 came out on 23rd April 2021. But unfortunately, Chivalry gamers are facing a major PlayStation4 error. It goes by the error code CE-34878-0, which might take place due to a system software issue. A corrupted PS4 data can also trigger this issue. As of now, the developers have not provided an official solution for this error. We hope developers will work on the fixation of this issue as many players are experiencing it. But how to fix Error CE-34878-0? Let’s focus on some of the common ways to fix PS4 error ode E-34878-0:

Restart the PS4 firmware

Bad hardware can trigger this error code. Aim to restart your PS4 console and the DualShock4 controller to ensure reconnection, so that it can and work again.

  • Switch off your PS4 console.
  • Completely turn off your DualShock 4 controller.
  • Go for rebooting your PS4 console and then the DualShock4 controller.
  • Try to open Chivalry 2 to confirm the fix has worked.

Get the original HDD

A recent upgrade of your hard disk can also hamper your Chivalry 2 experience. This is because HDD’s have a tendency to impact your gaming performance. Get back the original HDD back on your PS4 and install it. But before you go for this step, ensure to Back Up Data on your console.

  • Insert the USB storage device for the back up into one of the PS4’s USB ports.
  • Go to Settings > Select System > Choose Back Up and Restore.
  • Confirm Chivalry 2 for back up. If you are not going for back up, you have to go for downloading or reinstalling them when/if you eventually restore with the back up you’re creating.
  • Give a customized name to the back up.
  • Upon completion, highlight Back Up and press the X button.
  • Give some time until the process finishes.
  • After the backup, install the original HDD in your PS4.
  • Post installation, try your games again to confirm the fix has worked.
