Call of Duty Modern Warfare’s season 4 has had an impressive impact on the gaming world. We saw the addition of Captain Price, Gaz, and Roze to the roster of playable multiplayer operators. Also, there were many hidden easter eggs which made the game more exciting. This season will most likely end on August 4 and the brand-new season 5 will be available after that.
On Monday, the first teaser of season 5 was apparently leaked to a popular twitch streamer, NICKMERCS, and based on that teaser, the new season is set to release on August 5. The short clip also shows the presence of a train and a sound of a train horn. This suggests that season 5 will introduce “Loot Trains” in the Verdansk map. This is not the only change coming to the Verdansk in season 5.

Warzone Stadium Explosion
A second teaser has been previewed by a Twitch streamer, TeePee. The teaser shows CCTV camera footage of the stadium and there appears to be a large explosion from inside the stadium. This suggests that the football/soccer stadium may open up to allow players more places to land, load up, and bunker down. That being said, it is not certain what the explosion actually means. This teaser also showed a timestamp for 5 August, 2020, which confirms the release date from the previous teaser.

The nuclear warhead in Bunker 11 also seems to suggest that a huge destruction is on the way, as shown in the teaser. Other leaks suggest that the unreleased season 5 intro of Warzone begins where the nuclear warhead is being transported. This could most likely lead to the explosion in the stadium.
What else is coming in Season 5?
In addition, the season 5 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Warzone will introduce an influx of new weapons, Operators, operator skins, and other in-game products. The USB containing the first teaser revealed by NICKMERCS came in a Rook chest piece. This means that the season 5 may introduce a new operator, Rook, who was a member of Task Force 141. This could also mean that the Task Force 141 is being reunited. We will know more about this, when the next teaser will be released.
