Call of Duty Vanguard, the 18th instalment in the overall Call of Duty series is finally out for the players to enjoy. It was released back on 5 November 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The game has got some race reviews from the players and has become one of the best Call of Duty versions ever produced.
This first-person shooter game has quite a lot of things to offer, and we like the wide range of weaponry available for us to use. And that is not all. We can customize our weapons as per our preference, and this is something Call of Duty has not left behind even after so long.
One of these things we can customize in the game is the weapon reticle. If you are wondering what a reticle is, it is the crosshair shape of any attached optical sight. The reticle is one of the many cosmetic upgrades that you can apply to your weapons in COD Vanguard. And here is what you need to know about these!
HOW TO GET RETICLES IN CALL OF DUTY VANGUARD?
The trick to getting these stylish reticles in Call of Duty Vanguard is pretty simple. One of the simplest ways of getting reticles is by purchasing cosmetic packs. The cosmetic packs are usually purchased as micro-transactions using the COD points or using real money.
COD Points are used in both the in-game store and for the Battle Pass. As you climb through the ranks, be sure to check the store every now and then. You may get lucky and find an awesome reticle in the store, or through the battle pass itself.
Another alternative to getting these reticles is by completing the weapon challenges that the cosmetic is behind. Well, some specific reticles can be obtained through the completion of weapon challenges.
If the reticle of your choice requires a weapon challenge, you can complete the challenges either in multiplayer mode or Zombie mode. But this completely depends upon the challenges.
Some challenges require you to be at a specific weapon level before you can complete them. So it is recommended that you check that you are playing the correct mode and are above the weapon level to avoid complications.
HOW TO CHANGE THE OPTICS RETICLE IN CALL OF DUTY VANGUARD?
It is very easy to change the optics reticle in the game Call of Duty Vanguard. Follow these steps to change the reticle –
- Go to the main multiplayer menu.
- Next, tab over to Weapon and then choose any of your load-outs. Choose the load-out which has the gun you want to change the reticle of. Let us take an example of any sniper rifle, say Type 99.
- Next, go over to gunsmith and select that. Go to the Attachments section where you will find the Optics.
- In the Optics menu, you can scroll down the various ones available for you. Since we are using a sniper, let us take the 8 Times scope.
- Once you have chosen the optic of your choice, you can go back to the screen and tab over to Customize.
- In the Customize section, you will find the camouflage, reticle, charm and stickers. Go over to the reticle option since you want to change that.
- In the reticle section, you will find a whole lot of articles and the ways to unlock them. Choose the reticle of your preference and complete the tasks assigned to unlock it. Once you have unlocked it, you can come back here and use the same! This method is the same for all guns.
