Chapter 970 of One Piece is live now, and it was a great chapter. In the chapter, Oden and retainers go to kill against Kaido. Before the battle, Kaido reveals that he was at a disadvantage five years back because of his weak force and in that state, if Oden would have joined Hyogoro along with all samurai and Yakuza of Wano, he might be defeated. With anger, Oden and retainers begin to attack Kaido’s army. Shinobu also joins them.
Passing and slashing through the horde of enemies, Oden lands a huge blow on Kaido’s chest. But, Higurashi transforms into Momonusuke and acts likes in trouble to distract Oden and with the advantage of moment Kaido hits Oden with Raimei Hakke, which makes the latter unconscious. All retainers lose hope, and Kaido puts all of them in prison with an order of execution with boiling. Before going to prison, Oden denies any relation with Shinobu and lets her free. The chapter ends with Oden waiting in prison.

If you are thinking that Oden will die that easily, that it is not going to happen as the execution won’t happen, and retainers are live proof of that. In the next chapter, Oden and retainers will break out from the prison, and another fight will begin between Kaido and Oden. One Piece Chapter 971 will likely be the last chapter of Oden’s story, and with this, Wano Arc Act 3 may conclude. Afterward, we may see the present story where retainers are left alone without any whereabouts of Straw Hats and others. It’s going to be more exciting and fun.
