Studio Surgical Scalpels’ latest game – Boundary, has been getting quite popular in the FPS genre lately since its launch on April 13th. The zero-g space combat part of it is a breath of fresh air from all the recent cookie-cutter military shooters. Boundary is trying to do something different here and by the positive reaction it has been getting, it seems like the studio is able to achieve that. The game is unique and fun despite currently being under the Steam Early Access program. Devs did say that Boundary will remain an early access title for at least six to twelve months or even more as they polish the game and make some much-needed features available to players. Furthermore, lately, newcomers to the game have been wondering about the FOV slider feature being available in the game.
Customizability in video games is something that can’t be overlooked by video game studios. Players have different preferences based on their comfortability and such. This becomes more important when it comes to fast-paced combat games. Genres like FPS, Action, and others, include lots of features, in order to make players from all walks of life comfortable in their playthroughs. Titles like Valorant, Counter-Strike, and others like it include the FOV sliders option in their settings so as to allow players to customize their game as they see fit. But what about Boundary? Does the game have a FOV slider option? Let’s find out!
Boundary Game FOV Slider: Is it available
As of writing, Studio Surgical Scalpels are yet to add a FOV slider option in Boundary. The game’s Steam discussion page has quite a few players asking for it, but the devs haven’t given any responses to such requests. The possibility of a FOV slider being included in the game sometime in the near future isn’t impossible to imagine though. FPS titles are highly dependent on such features and we are sure that at some point in, the devs will surely introduce a FOV slider option for the players.
Boundary is still very early in its development stage as evidenced by it being under Steam’s Early Access program. Moreover, it hasn’t even completed a full month of launch so far. Updates for the game are coming in regularly, with the recent one released on April 16, 2023, which fixed the game crashes and other bugs. We suggest players wait for a while if they want a FOV slider option included in the game. Additionally, players can also go to Boundary’s Steam discussion page and enquire about upcoming features of the game and even leave feedback. We will be sure to update this article once Studio Surgical Scalpels introduce a FOV slider option in Boundary.
