Borderlands 3 is an action role-playing first-person shooter video game. It is playable on macOS, Stadia, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. Despite being a multiplayer game and released on almost every major platform, this game did not have the crossplay feature until June 24, 2021. On this day, Borderlands 3 announced the crossplay feature as a free add-on to Borderlands 3. But, not everyone wants to play the game by enabling this feature. So, if you are also looking for disabling this feature in your game, here is everything that you should know.

Disable Borderlands 3 Crossplay

Crossplay is a very important feature and everyone who enables it has great advantages such as low queue time to enter the game. But, some players are not fond of this feature. Enabling crossplay is recently added to Borderlands 3 and players playing on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 cannot access this feature. If you are here to know the steps for disabling the crossplay then, you might be playing on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, Stadia, or PC.

So, firstly, when you will update your game to the latest version, you will see a prompt pop-up asking you to put in your crossplay name along with an option to enable or disable crossplay. Regardless of your choice, you have to enter your name. To know how to write your name, see this guide. You can disable the crossplay in your primary choice. But if, you enabled it before and now you want to disable it, then follow this path:

Network & Social menu> General section> Options menu> Crossplay> Disable.

Moreover, it is not recommended for anyone to turn crossplay off because it will increase your queue time in multiplayer mode.
