Black Myth Wukong Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go Support Details
From what we know as of now, Black Myth Wukong will be playable on Windows, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The PS5 and PC versions are coming out on August 20th. As for the Xbox version, it’s still under development. But what about the handhelds?
Steam Deck
Unfortunately, as of now, our understanding is that Steam Deck players won’t be able to play Black Myth Wukong. The minimum system requirements of the game mention a 1060 GPU. Steam Deck is significantly below this minimum requirement. Furthermore, as Steam user Leskei points out, no Unreal Engine 5 games run well on the Deck. This would mean that even for Black Myth Wukong, it’ll be hard for the players to play this game on Deck. But considering the Deck’s history of running AAA titles at 30–40 FPS on the lowest settings, you can give this game a try on it, if you are comfortable with compromising visuals.
Asus ROG Ally & Lenovo Legion Go
When it comes to these two handhelds, things get a little tricky. Now, even for the Asus ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, the minimum requirements of the game seem to be a little too much. So does it mean that there’s no chance that you can play Black Myth Wukong on Asus ROG Ally or Lenovo Legion Go? Well, that’s really hard to say. Both of these handhelds are superior to the Deck in terms of hardware. So maybe they can still provide an acceptable FPS? We’ll have to wait until the release of the game and then find out. Before that, anything we’ve said is just mere speculation. So don’t forget to take this news with a pinch of salt.
