I will be honest when I first saw Liebe (when he laughed at Zagred) he looked bigger and a lot more badass. Now that you see his actual body, he is so young and just about the size of Asta. We know that he is a fairly young Devil as well and an anomaly for not having magic. He needs Asta as much as Asta needs him. And we see at the end of the last Black Clover Chapter that Asta and Liebe decide to become friends. What is cooler now is that they will fight Nacht together for the first time. It will be so cool to see the abilities of Nacht (which looks like the dog form of Gimodelo, his main devil) vs the new Asta-Liebe combo. Black Clover Chapter 271 Release Date & Raw Scan
Black Clover 271 will release on its weekly schedule like MHA and Spy X Family in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #49. Black Clover 271 raw scan as you know come out 2-3 days before the release date. Chapter 270 Recap
The chapter first shows us the win of Asta vs Liebe. It sort of feels like the Anti-magic devil did not put up much of a fight. Nacht tells Asta that now he can completely take over the powers of Liebe under contract. But Asta decides to share the body and power 50-50 despite him winning. Nacht calls him stupid for that but Liebe sees a glimpse of Licita in Asta. A panel shows that Asta is actually the child of Licita. How that came to be is still unknown.
It does leave a lot of unanswered questions like who is the Father and when did she conceive him. We saw her dying at the hands of Lucifero while trying to save Liebe. At that time she was not pregnant. But this sets the stage for AMD to trust Asta as he gives his arm back to him. Nacht then talks to Gimodelo and starts to don his Devil-form. He challenges the newly formed duo to a match in the last panel!

- The fight between Asta-Liebe and Nacht will end in a loss for the newly formed duo. But it will show the potential they both have.
- We might see the others in the next chapter, as Yuno is going through his own journey as well as Noelle training with the elves.
- The next chapter or two will set the stage for the battle to be taken in the heart of Spade Kingdom as everyone gathers up.
- It will be interesting to see the revived role of the Elves on the side of the protagonists.
- Nacht will definitely kick some ass! I love his form merged with Gimodelo.
- Initially, Asta and Liebe will fail to don a similar form as Nacht but it will foreshadow their next growth factor.
