Unlike MHA 289, Black Clover will be releasing on its weekly schedule. There is no hiatus for the next chapter focussing on Asta vs Liebe. It will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump on 22nd October 2020. The raw scan of the chapter are the translations of the photos from the magazine that is in Japanese. Chapter 268 Recap
Liebe is a low level devil that was born with no magic. He was isolated in the underworld as the other devils loved playing with Humans and other low-level devils. He was pushed through the magical barrier between the human world and the underworld. But because he did not possess any magic, he passed through without disintegrating. Liebe is shown as a small devil and he was cursed in the human world as well for being abberant. He could not settle down as people either feared him or pushed him away. He grew more and more alone until he met a girl named Licita.
A group of high mages harm Liebe but he saved by Licita who is not scared of him. She heals him inside a small cabin in the forest. Licita tells him of her unusual condition. She possesses the power of stealing magic and life force from anything around her. But since Liebe was a devil with no magic, she cannot harm him. She says it is almost like they are meant for each other.
Licita raises Liebe as her child but Lucifero takes over him. This prompts her to seal Liebe into the 5 leaf grimoire. She promises Liebe that he will come out to be very powerful. This was the origination of the power of the anti-magic devil. At the last panel, Liebe tells that he will take over Asta’s body and kill every other devil through it.
Black Clover Chapter 269 Spoilers and Predictions
As we said above the Black Clover spoilers come out as we translate the raw scan of the chapter. Currently, there are no Black Clover 269 spoilers but as soon as they are out we will update this post. Black Clover chapter 269 spoilers will contain the culmination of fight between Asta and Liebe. We have some predictions for the next chapter:
- Liebe even though he wants to take over Asta’s body to kill devils appreciates Asta. It is like Kurama and Naruto’s relationship.
- We are to see a deal negotiated between them as Asta says that he will help Liebe with his revenge.
- Liebe will soften over a few chapters and start to appreciate the relationship between Asta and him.
- What will be interesting to see is Nacht’s reaction here. He is a selfish guy caring only about his goals.
