The last chapter of Black Clover was all about the Black Bull’s Captain Yami surpassing his limits and defeating the gravity Demon Dante. Yuki Tabata’s opus magnum is picking up the pace as they drive into the next arc. We know the disparity of powers between the villains and our heroes. Two things can happen in chapter 257, a continuation of this epic fight or Dante retreating.

Chapter 256 Recap
Yami and Dante run the show in this epic fight. Dante decides to show the true power of his Devil, going up to 80% to fight Yami. He also reveals that he cannot attain 100% because of the boundary that exists between the demon world and human world. That seems to be the main goal of Magicula and Dark Triad. The fight continues with Dante’s attack bending the dimension slash but Yami like a true leader surpasses his limit. He turns the tide and uses a new attack ‘Death Thrust’ to split Dante into pieces. But Dante is still talking and alive.
Black Clover Chapter 257 Spoilers & Predictions
Dante being the strongest member of Dark Triad will not be defeated so easily. Reddit theories suggest he will use some flesh magic and heal himself. Even though Dante says that he cannot use 100% of the Devil’s power, 80% is not the cap and we might see him overpowering our protagonists. The next chapter might be a continuation of the fight but considering Vanica retreats Dante might decide to do the same.
The arc has been building up to this, Dante might just subdue Yami and take him away kicking off the arc to save Lolopechka and Yami & defeating the Devil Kingdom.
